What is the composition of the pharmacy staff?
The pharmacy staff consists of the Director of Pharmacy, two staff pharmacists, and three pharmacy technicians.
What are the pharmacy hours of operation?
The pharmacy is open Monday–Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The pharmacy is closed daily from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, as well as during holidays observed by the hospital. The pick-up window is open Monday–Friday, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. A pharmacist is always on-call 24/7 for off-hour services.
Prescriptions
How many prescriptions does the pharmacy fill in a day?
Our daily prescription average is about 200. The pharmacy also sends supplies and stock to five village clinics to support the villages.
Technology
What type of operating software do you have?
The pharmacy uses QS/1 to fill both inpatient and outpatient prescriptions and RPMS for patient information and for generating pre-pack labels.
What automated systems does the pharmacy use?
There are two Pyxis machines maintained by the pharmacy. One machine is for Inpatient and the other is for Outpatient.
Licensing
What type of licensing is required?
